Welcome to the BA Motorsports RUclips Channel, we are a performance automotive facility located in Cincinnati, OH. We specialize in late model muscle cars from complete builds, tuning, maintenance, parts and racer support. We have over 15 years of service in the performance industry as well as multiple National Championships in the NMRA as well as the NMCA. Here we are planning to highlight some of our builds, throw some tech videos and plenty of racing in the mix for a fun time and bring you along!!

We had the chance to do a before and after on a Bronco project recently. We added the Roush Cold Air, and a Roush catback. The gains for simple mods on a stock tune was impressive.

Was this just with the base whipple tune ?
Stock 2 valve making over 500 is a ticking time bomb. At least he already has the block to make his soon to be replacement forged. It will be a boat load fun until it goes though. Love the sound of the 2 valves and the 4 valve terminator

I have the JR Ready tool and haven't had a single issue with it.
The JR Ready is a really good tool. I still use mine even though I have the DMCs.

What power and torque numbers did it put down? 93 octane? Also is this the box stock 422240 kit? Roush tune? Thanks!

How long do these motors usually last. On the rev limit like that do you have any problems with the chains breaking or the phasers?
I'd trust a "redneck torture test" over probably half the engineering test reports I've ever read. I guess if you really wanted to get more scientific you could test for resistance with the meter, but I generally trust a good crimp as much as I do a good solder. Thanks for the video! You helped me make my choice.

Standalone ecu? or is the stock ecu able to be tuned?
Oh man Thanks for showing us, but I think I see some possible problems. The zip is super tight, which is good but maybe heat cycling and vibration will cause it to break. Maybe stainless tie wire would be a better option? Possibly even two of them if you want to make it fail safe

E85, Fuel Sys, 2.7 pulley, makes 800whp Roush 2650
Can the crimp depth be adjusted/calibrated on the cheapo Tool Aids? I know that there is an adjustment screw hidden behind a glued on “calibration cover” on my Balmars (same as Daniels/DMC). If the crimp depth of the cheapo stuff could be calibrated to the same as the Daniels there is no reason that they couldn’t yield a crimp that is as good for at least a few dozen crimps. That’s not to say they would maintain calibration as long or wouldn’t wear out, but the first few hundred crimps would probably be just as good and occasional calibration would save a fella a lot of cash. If I remember correctly, the minimum “go gauge” size for my Balmar tool is .013” and the No-Go is .016”. I always check it at the minimum size and just assume if that’s good, all of the larger sizes are fine too. I’d bet anything that the Tool Aid crimper is out of spec and I can’t imagine that it can’t be adjusted, but the Chinese cut any corner they can get away with, so who knows...

On E85?
One other thing to keep in mind, the JRready and DMC crimpers will do size size 20, 16 and 12 contacts. As far as I know the cheap red one will not do size 12. The size 12 contacts are not common in automotive applications but they are in use on a lot of agricultural and industrial equipment (Deutsch HD30 circular connectors).

I wanna say thank you for putting a good image of the dyno sheet up... alot of videos they just pan the camera across a blurry dyno screen. A really interesting build. My I ask what cams and fuel were used?

What about a 3v
I've been watching as many videos as I can, I keep hearing that this supercharger is extremely quiet. Is this true, is it quiet compared to the loud wine you get from something like a Whipple?
The closed airbox systems are kinda hard to get some Whine from. If you was to take the lid off you will get some more blower whine. That or get a smaller pulley and a tune down the road.
@@BAMotorsports thanks for the reply. It's starting to make sense to me now, I've got a friend with a hellcat charger and he said roughly the same thing. I was confused at first because I wasn't sure how the air box would affect whine but I think I get it now. Appreciate you!
You can also purchase a whine mod for this supercharger. Takes about 1-2 hours to install and the whine is noticable.

i'm preparing for a tubo instal in a 4.6. how many # injectors are you using. did you have to upgrade firing system?
If I recall correctly on this build I think it had 60 lb injectors.
@BA MOTORSPORTS What is a recommended way to tune out the sensors?
Have your tuner do it.
Your tuner will have to turn off the IMRC if the manifold is going on a vehicle that had IMRC control.
Can u put this kit with the automatic transmission ? I’m honestly trying to make only 400-550 hp.
Yes it will work with a Auto car

Yeah shops like that make it rough for the rest of us. My shop you would be looking at 1.5 Hour labor plus the plugs.
That’s it???? Roush usually is really good about number increase..8hp/8ft lbs of torque that’s highway robbery
It is just a catback and a cold air. They didn't have a calibration available when we did this install.
